We want you to be genuinely happy with Lumo AI. This page explains when you can get your money back and how to ask.
Free tier
The free plan is exactly that — free. There is no charge, so there is nothing to refund. You can try Lumo’s core features (up to 5 transforms per day) without ever paying.
7-day money-back guarantee
If you upgrade to a paid plan (Student Pro or Teacher Pro) and it’s not for you, email us within 7 days of your first payment and we’ll refund that payment in full — no interrogation. This applies to your first subscription payment only.
Renewals & cancellations
- Cancel anytime. You can cancel from your account settings. Your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for; it isn’t cut off immediately.
- Renewal charges. Subscriptions renew automatically. After the 7-day window, renewal payments are generally non-refundable — but cancel before a renewal date and you won’t be charged again.
- No partial-period refunds. We don’t prorate unused days in a cancelled month, since you keep full access for the rest of that period.
Exceptions we’ll always honor
Regardless of the window above, we’ll make it right if you were charged in error, double-billed, or were unable to use Pro because of a sustained outage on our side. Just reach out.
How to request a refund
Email support@lumo-learn.com from the address on your account, and include the email you signed up with (and an order or receipt number if you have one). We aim to reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Payments & processor
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which handles billing, invoices, and tax on our behalf. A refund reverses the original Lemon Squeezy charge. If your country grants you statutory refund or cancellation rights, this policy is in addition to — not instead of — those rights.
